So Maya was sitting on my lap and she said, “Let’s play tickle button
and when I hit the tickle button you will laugh. And hmm, what should
be the tickle button? Okay, it’s your boobs, so when I hit your boobs
you should laugh…or I guess it could be your chin”
I’m glad she changed her mind, but then she popped me in the chin….I
didn’t laugh. (-Leah)
I went to Sears last night w/ Pike and was looking through the
bra section & Pike started singing “Underwear, underwear everywhere, hiney
pants and great big boobs, great big boooooobs!” and he was touching
everything! It was hilarious but embarrassing. He took a whole section of
silky blue underwear off the rack & hung each one back up individually so he
could touch them all. And then we ran into one of the teachers from his
school- I don’t know if she got to hear the song, though.
And then later he was singing a song from Annie and then asked what an orphan
was. I said it was someone whose parents were gone or had died & that it was
kind of sad. He said “Why’s that sad?” I said “Well, wouldn’t you be sad if
you didn’t have a mom & dad?” He said “Nah, I’m never sad. I’m tough. My dad
always says I’m tough. And if anything happened to you I’d just put water in
your mouth and feed you healthy food and then you’d be ok.”

Jack was talking about the song “dad won’t let him
play” and it was holiday in cambodia and I was trying to tell him that
it wasn’t a holiday and that you wouldn’t want to live in cambodia and
they don’t have enough food ect and that they were lucky to be born to
parents here and not in cambodia. Well, Maya said she wasn’t lucky bc
when she was in my belly she wished kristi would be her mom!! (-Leah)
