Bryan tells Chloe, “Your American Girl doll is going to get her first x-ray
today.” Referring to the airport security scanners. Chloe’s response:
“But she’s naked!”
Chloe says to Collin, after lunch in Louisville: ”You’re a good guy,
Collin. You got us some barf bags!” (He was very excited about those “free
souveniers”)
Driving in downtown Louisville, past all the Victorians and into a part of
town that looks a little scary.Collin says, “Look at that dump!”
Collin says,(again incredulous – what can I say? The kid’s going through
that “I know everything” phase) ”Who wants to live in a pink house?”
referring to a pink Victorian. After a minute, Chloe says, in a
matter-of-fact voice of reason, as if her brother is the most ignorant being
alive, “I do.”
